Cushioned sports courts that absorb impact

An acrylic coating system with added rubber cushion layers that absorb impact, feel comfortable underfoot and are easier on the knees. Suited to heavily used tennis and multi-purpose courts, installed by our professional crews.

About the system

What is an Acrylic Cushion surface?

Acrylic Cushion is an acrylic flooring system with rubber cushion layers beneath the color coats, which makes the court surface more resilient and softer than Hardcourt and reduces impact on ankles and knees, so it suits players who are on court regularly. It keeps the slip resistance, UV resistance and easy care of a standard acrylic system, and is laid over concrete or asphalt with lines marked for each sport.

Q&A

FAQ · Acrylic Cushion

Which courts suit Acrylic Cushion?
Tennis courts, multi-purpose courts and courts in frequent use that need a softer surface to reduce impact and protect the knees
How is Cushion different from Hardcourt?
Cushion adds rubber layers that absorb impact, so it is softer and gentler on the joints, while Hardcourt is a hard surface focused on durability and a smaller budget
How thick is the rubber layer?
It can be adjusted to the softness you need; the complete system is about 3–5 mm thick, and the thicker it is, the softer it feels and the more impact it absorbs
Can it be laid on new concrete right away?
New concrete must cure for 21–28 days and be completely dry before the system is applied, for good adhesion and to help prevent peeling
How is it maintained?
Wash regularly with water and avoid standing water and sharp objects. The surface lasts for years, with touch-up recoating at intervals that depend on use
