What is an Acrylic Hardcourt surface?

An Acrylic Hardcourt surface is a hard, water-based acrylic coating system for outdoor sports courts over concrete or asphalt. It is applied in several coats, including resurfacer, texture and color coats, to give an even, slip-resistant surface that resists UV and weather and is easy to maintain. It is a widely used outdoor court system because it offers good value and a long service life, and it suits tennis, basketball, futsal and multi-purpose courts.

Which courts suit Acrylic Hardcourt?
Outdoor courts such as tennis, basketball, futsal and multi-purpose courts that need a hard surface that stands up to sun and rain and is easy to maintain.
How is Acrylic Hardcourt different from Acrylic Cushion?
Hardcourt is a hard surface focused on durability and a smaller budget, while Cushion adds rubber layers to absorb impact, so it is softer and easier on the knees.
How many coats of acrylic are applied?
A resurfacer coat, a texture (anti-slip) coat, two color coats and line marking, so several layers in total according to the system.
Can new concrete be coated right away?
New concrete must cure fully for 21–28 days and be completely dry before the coating system is applied, to prevent the paint from peeling.
How is it maintained, and how long does it last?
Wash regularly with water and avoid standing water. The color coats last for years, and recoating every 3–5 years is recommended depending on use.
