Tennis court flooring
End-to-end tennis court construction + painting
We design, surface and line-mark tennis courts to ITF standards with Acrylic Cushion and Hardcourt systems that resist slipping and give an even ball bounce, installed by professional crews with more than 20 years of experience.
A good tennis court gives an even ball bounce
A tennis court built to standard needs a smooth, even surface for a consistent bounce, slip resistance and impact absorption to protect knees and ankles. DMH Sport Floor designs and installs tennis court flooring end to end, from base preparation and coating to ITF line marking, for indoor and outdoor courts.

Choose the system that fits your budget and how the court will be used
Acrylic Cushion
An acrylic surface over rubber cushion layers: softer, easier on the knees and with a good ball bounce. Suited to competition and club courts.
Acrylic Hardcourt
A hard acrylic surface that stands up to sun and rain, with bright, slip-resistant color on a budget. Suited to outdoor courts.
ITF line marking
Tennis lines marked to the rules and standard dimensions, with crisp lines and well-bonded paint.
Which paint should you use on a tennis court?
Hard tennis courts mostly use acrylic paint, because it keeps ball bounce and pace consistent. Choose a hard or a cushioned system to suit how the court is used.
Acrylic Hardcourt paint for outdoor tennis courts
Water-based acrylic paint applied in several coats over concrete or asphalt. It gives a hard surface with an even bounce and stands up to sun and rain, and the amount of sand in the color coats sets the surface texture, so the ball pace can be tuned to the players. Acrylic Cushion paint for frequently used courts
Rubber cushion layers under the color coats give a softer feel underfoot and reduce the impact on knees and ankles. Suited to clubs, sports schools and players who train regularly. Read more: Acrylic Cushion paint
Popular tennis court colors
Inside the lines the court is usually blue or green, with dark green outside the lines for contrast, which helps players see the yellow ball clearly. Lines are usually white; under ITF rules they are 2.5–5 cm wide, and the baseline may be up to 10 cm wide.
Tennis court painting steps
- Check the base, its slope and moisture level, then clean it
- Repair cracks, fill holes and level the surface for an even bounce
- Apply the primer and resurfacer, plus rubber layers if you choose a cushion system
- Apply the color coats and anti-slip finish evenly
- Mark the lines to standard tennis court dimensions, then inspect and hand over
